Between castles and local flavors

Day 1 - Arrival and transfer

Private transfer from Venice, Trieste, Udine - or other locations in Friuli - towards "your" castle. Along the way, the first stop will lead you to Grado, where a refined lunch based on fish or meat awaits you in one of the typical restaurants of the old city (not included in the altitude). After lunch, give yourself a pleasant walk along the ancient roads, exploring the secrets of this fascinating place and visiting the suggestive places of degree, you can explore its fascinating cathedral, lose yourself in the characteristic alleys of the old city and admire the beauty of the waterfront. You will also have the opportunity to discover the rich story of a degree through its monuments and museums, immersing you completely in the unique atmosphere of this coastal location. Another stop for a quick visit to Palmanova, before heading towards "your" sumptuous castle. Check in and visit of the wine cellar of the wines and tasting of 3 wines accompanied by some local products (cheeses and typical Friulian cold cuts, bread and focaccia). Duration of about an hour.

Day 2: Trieste - Gorizia

After breakfast private transfer to Trieste, a city full of history and culture. The road through the suggestive region of the Karst will take you to the Miramare Castle, an architectural jewel overlooking the Adriatic Sea, where you can explore its sumptuous interiors and the wonderful surrounding gardens. After the visit to Miramare, time available for a walk in Trieste and lunch (not included in the listing). In the afternoon, on the return road, a short stop in Gorizia, a city with deep cultural roots and divided in two by its complex history. The activities during this short stage will be customized according to your interests, a walk through the center with a stop in a traditional coffee or a walk along the Isonzo river. A tasting of local specialties in a typical restaurant in the area is the perfect way to conclude this experience before returning to your sumptuous castles.

Day 3 Cividale - Valli del Natisone

After breakfast your journey will lead you to Cividale, a historic pearl set in the Friuli hills. You will explore this fascinating city full of history, cultural heritage and UNESCO sites. The detailed visits and the activities will be customized according to your interests, being able to include the visit to historical monuments, such as the Lombard temple, or simply walk through the suggestive medieval ways. Lunch at a local restaurant, to savor the authentic cuisine of the region. After lunch the journey will continue towards the Natisone valleys, an enchanting territory characterized by picturesque landscapes and authentic traditions. Return to the castle and dinner with tasting menu (5 courses combined with 5 wines).

Day 4: Udine - San Daniele

After breakfast we start to discover Udine and San Daniele, two jewels in the heart of Friuli. You will start the day with a visit to San Daniele, famous for its precious ham. Here, you will have the opportunity to taste a memorable lunch at a local restaurant, where the ham tasting will be at the center of the culinary experience. Subsequently, transfer by private car to Udine, a city full of history and culture. You will explore its fascinating squares, historical monuments and museums that testify to the richness of the Friulian heritage. Day 5: Return to Venice or other destinations

After breakfast, meeting with your driver to explore the Collio area and visit one of the most prestigious cellars in the area. After a lunch with tasting of the typical wines of the area, your driver will take you to the next destination.
